Software Maintenance Contracts
For Skills DB Pro software installed at your site products, an active maintenance contract entitles you to:
- Free technical support for your administrators (excluding consulting). You are expected to support your users. Technical support is normally done through emails, though could involve online support sessions as necessary.
- Free minor version updates.
- Free major version upgrades. Major upgrades are distributed upon software release using the delivery information provided on the original order. It is imperative that you notify Skills DB Pro if the delivery or main contact information changes.
The fee for a 1-year maintenance contract is 15% of the current software price, and is included for the first year on all new purchases.
Terms and Conditions
Renewal: The contract renews automatically on the annually on the renewal date listed. Unless the contract has been canceled, a renewal invoice will be sent to the main contact listed on the original order. If a response is not received within 30 days, the contract will be considered active.
The cost to renew the contract will be based on the list price of the software at the time of each renewal.
Please note that lapses in maintenance contracts are not allowed. In the case where a contract expired, any future renewals will begin on the day following the original expiration date.
Cancellation: The contract can be canceled at any time in writing by e-mail, fax or letter. In case of cancellation, Skills DB Pro will not pro-rate or issue any refunds for any unused time on this agreement. There is no grace period for cancellations.
